Island Of The Blue Dolphins
The introduction in Island Of The Blue Dolphins. The beginning of the story was about how Karana’s tribe was in war and she felt sad and angry about that. She was laying on a cliff while watching her tribe in war. The book described the island as a “jungle of green.”
Rising Action
When all of her family members where gone to a different island that is when there were rising action. Because when Karana went to get her brother Ramo that is when he got killed by the wild dogs that’s when she met Rontu. That was a very important part in the story because that dog was very special to her. Rontu even protected Karana.
Climax
Karana went to leave her island but the blue dolphins stop her from leaving.
Falling Action
Karana felt that the white men were coming for her but, she realized that her tribe was dead from war. She decided to stay on her island. She learned that it is good to be forgiving.
Resolution
Karana decided to go to a different island but the Blue Dolphins stop her from leaving. Karana found Rontu’s son named Rontu- Aru and that dog became her new best friend.
